Following the successful introduction of the M3 Coupé, the new BMW M3 Saloon (E90M) will be launched on 8 March as the second member of the M3 range. Within this range, the coupe bodystyle is positioned as the sportiest and most exclusive M3 variant with a strict 2+2 configuration, with the carbon-fibre roof providing a clear link to the BMW Sauber Formula 1 Team. The saloon adds practicality to this concept by providing even greater everyday functionality with five seats and four doors.

The new BMW M3 Saloon will use the same 4.0 litre V8 naturally aspirated high-revving engine already showcased in the M3 Coupé, whilst providing the best power-to-weight ratio an M3 has ever delivered. BMW M innovations such as Dynamic Stability Control Plus (DSC+) with M Dynamic mode complete the transfer of motorsport technology to everyday driving.
