Stephen James has five core values that are paramount to SJ company culture. We celebrate them by including examples demonstrated by staff in our weekly business update to emphasise that the values are not just a tick-box exercise.

People Obsession

Providing genuine care for our people in return for high performance. Putting others first is heavily ingrained in Stephen James culture.

Unrivalled Service

Putting ourselves in the customers' shoes, providing the best possible service. We aim to treat our customers and colleagues like gold.

Giving Back

Making a difference in the world. We look to make a positive impact in as many places as possible, whether that be at home or abroad. Lots of our work has been focused in Zambia, where our company charity Beyond Ourselves operates.

Outrageous Creativity

Good ideas come from everyone in the organisation. Every year we run a competition where staff put forward their ideas to save the business money. The winner is treated to a European city break and the idea implemented.

Unquestionable Honesty

Always do the right thing by customers and colleagues. This is essential to building trust between customers and colleagues.
